Extreme dieting with whey protein to stop muscle loss so i can lose more than 3 pounds a week, possible?
Im going to try and lose fat fast and increase muscle. To do this I’m going to use body fortress whey protein and later on creatine. I’ve worked out that I need 112.5g of protein a day for my weight after Bank Routing Number Bank Of The Lakes, Na i’ve subtracted my body fat that I plan to lose. Thats about 5 – 6 shakes a day at 100 calories a shake so 600 calories. If I eat very little else and intake 1000 calories a day with shakes and food included, thats 1500 calories under a recommended male is supposed to eat, do you think I could lose the fat yet build/not lose muscle through extreme dieting since they are getting all the protein they need?. I know that you lose water and muscle if you lose more than 3 pounds a week but this is an experiment and im not sure whats going to happen

To put into context, I’m a 27 y.o. with average weight and a average/good muscle build. I work out 2-5 times a week – 4 days weights and about 20-60 minutes cardio. I’ve been sloppy for the past month and got a little flabby. I need to lose weight but I have two concerns:
- Using a weight loss product that might work, but the rebound makes you gain weight and lose muscle.
- Becoming dependent and not being able to build further after using the product.
The above product sounds good, but I need some reviews to let me know if Bank Routing Number Cache Valley Bank it works well and if it has no rebound (for example, Xdra Cut was VERY good, you’d see results very fast, but the rebound made you really gain weight…).
I have a normal diet – I don’t eat fast food (very VERY rarelly) but I eat about 20 grams of chocolate every day. I don’t eat too much fat but I eat some – I believe in balanced diets.

I’ve decided to start an extreme weight loss program…how does my plan sound?
I’m 6’3″, around 235 (I’ll know for sure tomorrow at the gym). I’m not stuck on numbers, but I’m guessing I’ll need to lose at least 75 lbs before I’m satisfied. My main goals are to lose my broad shoulders and chest. I know that some guys with they were bigger, but that means nothing to me. I really don’t care what other people find attractive, and I’m not interested in any of the women who want some big strong man to protect them.
As my pic will demonstrate, I have a very long way to go. As far as diet is concerned, my plan is to stick to low-carb, low-fat, and not to eat until one hour after my stomach starts to rumble. I find a lot of times I eat just as an excuse – because I’m bored or because it’s a certain time of day or because I feel like it – and I’m interested to see how much I would eat per day if I only ate when I was really, truly hungry.
I don’t have some strict timeline to lose this much weight…I’m presuming it will take me till summer to lose it all. As for exercise, I’m going to stick to only cardio. I’m asking for new running shoes for Christmas since the cheap ones I bought give me blisters if I run too much, so until then, it will be 20 min on the treadmill, 20 on the Stairmaster, and 20 on the elliptical, seven days a week.

Oh, postscript: do NOT post ads for Acai berry, Wu-Yi tea, or any other fad diet or magic cure. This site is rife with you people and trust me, whatever solution I end up going with is not going to include investing in some dumb miracle cure. I have worked in the corporate offices of an Herbalife-style fad diet company, so I’m well aware of how they prey on insecure and desperate people. Thanks.

Just in case anyone says this….I tried personal trainers. i’m in no position to hire one anyway (and I don’t need one), but they just told me I was crazy to want to lose so much weight and to “take advantage” of my size….in other words, they misunderstood me. I know I’m not obese (moderately overweight at best), but I want to appear smaller. My problem is not my stomach, but my upper body…broad shoulders and chest.
Okay, maybe “extreme weight loss” was a bad term to use. I’m not saying “I need to lose seven pounds a week” or “I need to lose 40 lbs by New Year’s” or anything like that. I meant “extreme” as in “losing a lot of weight”, not “losing a lot of weight in an unrealistic time span.”
PLEASE read my full question. I don’t think I’m hugely obese. As nice as it is for people to say, I don’t care if others think it’s great for a guy to have broad shoulders and a big chest….I hate it and that’s why I want to lose an inordinate amount of weight.

Extreme weight loss…and extra skin?
My junior year in highschool, i lost about 65 lbs. I went from 5’4, 200 lbs to 135 lbs. I am now a freshman in college, and i STILL have extra skin. It sucks because it still makes me feel fat and i still cannot wear a bathing suit with confidence. Help! Extreme Weight Loss Problem?
Alright so at the beginning of the semester for school, I signed up for this class called Advanced Sports Conditioning, because I played football. You just lift weights all class period. I also have Intermediate P.E. right before that. Our class is on a block schedule, so I’d only have those two classes on “A” days and no P.E. or weight classes on “B” days. Prior to this class, I have not been able to gain a pound less or a pound more than 145 lbs. That’s how much I’ve weighed since I was about 15. (I was 16 at start of class, 17 now.) My body fat percentage was 5.3%, about average.
I didn’t do anything special, I didn’t do any extra activities (except heavy lifting at work, at my grandmother’s farm), I didn’t go on any diets, nothing. Well, recently I decided I wanted a six pack and started doing 50 crunches on my Ab Rocket a night. Here is my diet:
Normally, I’m running late, so I skip breakfast. Once every couple days, I will either stop at McDonalds or Carl’s Jr. on the way to school, or just have some cereal.
I can’t afford lunch at school, so I just wait until after school (Get home by 2:30-ish), then have a big plate of popcorn chicken, bananas, mozzarella sticks, corn dogs, Bagel Bites, cereal, whatever I feel like.
Sometimes I’ll scrape up enough money to go to McDonalds and get a few things off the dollar menu, but not enough to fork over $5.00 at school everyday for lunch.
Then I’ll eat dinner (either my stepdad cooks or we go into town to eat something). Then I eat dessert, and right before bed I go downstairs for a bowl of cereal or something.
Yeah.
So anyway, it’s coming up on semester finals, and we’re measuring body weight and statistics…. I only lost a half pound, but my fat percentage Bank Routing Number Citizens State Bank Nya went down from 5.3 to 3.5. The following class, I tried again, and this time I lost 5 pounds and now my body fat pecentage went down to 3.2. I then weighed myself again on my scale at home today, and I lost another five pounds. Now, even after school between “lunch” and dinner, I’m always feeling hungry, and I’ll eat, but I keep losing weight. What should I do?
Seriously. If I don’t do something soon, poles are gonna become a really good hiding place in Hide n Go Seek.
